We will be running a trial at The Oxford Hotel, 134 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst for 4 weeks from this Friday 1st April (Yes, No Joke!) from 7pm til late.

Drop in and experience the venue, the Oxford Bar, Terrace and Gingers (level 1). Verushka Darling from 7 and Maxi Shields from 9:30 at Gingers (Level 1), a great place for dinner and a show!

Thank you all for the hardwork put in to make this year's Bear Essentials program during the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras such a success. As we careened from pandemic shutdown to early restrictions opening to a near biblical flood, we all pivoted many times to adapt to this fuid landscape.

This past Tuesday night, 18th Jan 2022, the Harbour City Bears committe decided to substantially reduce our Bear Essentials 26 program during the 2022 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. We have cancelled the plans for all indoor events, including UNDERBEAR & Wet Furr, due to the ongoing uncertainty around the pandemic. 

We will be going forward with our normal presence at Fair Day, Sunday 20th, Feb, Obelisk Beach Day, 28th Feb & the Parade at the SCG 5th Mar as well as some additional outdoor events to be announced. 

We very much appreciate your ongoing patience in these unprecedented times and encourage you to keep safe out there.
