If you’re looking for a way to use up some of that annual leave you’ve been accruing, come for a weekend out bush and spend some time catching up with your HCB mates you haven’t seen for ages. This year we're providing a bit more bang for buck and will be providing dinner on Friday night.

The camp grounds have hot showers, flushing toilets, cutlery/cups/pots/pans/saucepans, a BBQ/gas stoves, microwave, fridges and a sink  but in all other aspects this is REAL camping!

There are 2 caravans available for those without tents however these will be available on a first-come first-served basis. The grounds are private as we're booking out the whole place!!!

You’ll need to bring:

  • Tent

  • Bedding or sleeping bag

  • An inflatable mattress/camp stretcher/something soft to sleep on + pillow

  • A towel + soap + extra towel for creek swimming

  • Chair for your campsite - seating and tables are available in the communal kitchen area

  • A table (if you have one - table spaces are limited)

  • Bushman spray + sunscreen

  • Hat + sunglasses

  • Pizza for Saturday night - home made or frozen for cooking in the wood fired pizza oven.

  • Breakfasts/lunches/snacks

  • Drinks/booze

Campsite Facilities:

  • Flushing toilets

  • Hot showers

  • Generator for power - this is switched off overnight. ****CPAP users see notes further down.

  • There are 2 full size fridges available - these are switched off overnight.

  • A microwave

  • Gas stoves + BBQ

  • A kettle

  • A wood fired pizza oven

  • Cutlery, plates, saucepans, cups, cooking utensils all provided

  • Sink

  • Bore water

  • A shallow creek for bathing

  • Wood and a fire pit is provided

  • Sound system for music

*Temps are expected to be nice and warm overnight.

**mobile phone coverage is not available in this area.

*** Sites are unpowered.

*** CPAP Users: Note that as the generator is switched off overnight, you’ll need to arrange your own:

  • deep cycle battery (at least 50 amp hour, pref more) - requires turning off humidifier and climate control.

  • 12V DC attachment power pack for your CPAP. We suggest doing this early enough to allow for shipping times with respect to Xmas if you purchase online.

  • 12V DC-to-alligator clips attachment from BCF to attach the CPAP power pack to the battery
  • You will need a deep cycle battery charger as well - you’re welcome to charge your battery through the day using the onsite generators.
