With great sadness we pay tribute to our friend, DJ and bear brother Shane Kliese aka DJ Shanobear.
Shane has been a part of the bear community for many years, in Sydney as well as Melbourne and the wider bear community across Australia. He was a DJ for many of our events as well as our resident Bearaoke king.
Although we knew of Shane's battle with cancer this year, the loss still comes as a big shock. We will always remember the dancing, the fun, the singing and the laughter that we shared with him.
On behalf of myself and the Harbour City Bears Committee, we send a massive amount of love to his husband Charles and his family and if anyone needs any help we are here to assist in any way we can.
