Beach Bears

Sun, sand, ocean spray and hot bears!
Where you will feel the cool ocean breeze through your fur, relax along the beach lazing on the sand or make a playful splash in the ocean.
Come along for a fun and relaxing afternoon in the sun!

• Where? Little Congwong Beach, La Perouse
• When? Saturday 3 January 2026 - 12pm to 4pm
• What To Bring? Sunscreen, hat, towel, food, drink & a bag for taking your rubbish home

PLEASE NOTE:

• There is a fair, approximately 15 minute walk, from the beach entry to Little Congwong Beach and there are some steps involved. Please take this into consideration if you have mobility concerns. Please also refer to our accessibility information.
• Toilets are available near the bus stop.
• Little Congwong Beach is unofficially clothing optional. Harbour City Bears will not be held liable in the event you receive a fine.
• Shade may be a little hard to come by, so we recommend an umbrella or hat. Free sunscreen will be available from the HCB committee near the bear flag.
