Bear Essentials 27: Mardi Gras Watch Party & Celebration

All geared up to party but missed out on a ticket in the Mardi Gras parade? Never fear. Those not participating in the parade are welcome down at The Beacham on Oxford St to watch the glitz and glamour of the parade from the comfort of a bar stool.

We'll have the parade on the big screen, and plenty of food to help you celebrate, then music and dancing until late.

We are thrilled to update you all to announce our DJs for the night!

Brisbane's own DJ Mikey B will be there to start your night out right, then our superstar DJ Charles will take you on a ride from midnight onwards!

We have also arranged for a great bear-sized menu to be served at different times during the night, all included in your ticket price:

- House crumbed prawn cutlets w/ aioli
- Mix of various pizzas
- Grilled tandoori basted chicken breast fillet skewers w/ yoghurt dipping sauce
- Mix of spinach & and fetta filo parcels, pumpkin and swiss cheese parcels, Mexican chilli bean parcels
- Mix of pepper fried mini chicken breast burger w/ guacomale and chilli mayo and mini beef burger w/ aioli, caramelised onion, rocket and cheddar
- Beer battered chips with gravy and sweet potato chips and aioli platters
- Nepalese lamb curry boxes with jasmine rice

As an added bonus, those of you marching with the Harbour City Bears in the Mardi Gras Parade will receive an extra surprise!

How Much?	$135 for Harbour City Bears members $140 for bear kindred members $145 for non-members

Note: Please ensure you're on the same side of the road as The Beacham by 2pm (even if you don't intend to enter The Beacham for another few hours). If you are stuck on the wrong side of the road due to closures, you will need to go around the entire parade route which can be a very long walk (the finish point is near Moore Park). Museum Station will be closed from 5pm on Saturday 25 February until 4am on Sunday 26 February.

Important Information

If you are buying a Member-price ticket for a guest, both you and your guest must be current members of Harbour City Bears.

This also applies to Kindred club tickets- you and your guest must both be members of a kindred club. You can find a list of all qualifying kindred clubs on our website.

If your guest does not have a membership, please purchase full price ticket for them separately.

If you're found to have a member ticket as a non-member your ticket may be cancelled and refunded.

Scalping or reselling of tickets will not be tolerated, and if you're found to be ticket scalping, the ticket will be cancelled without a refund. Don't buy a ticket from a scalper, as you may be denied entry on the day.

Tickets are fully refundable up to the day before the event, so please contact us if you want to transfer your ticket to someone, and we can cancel your ticket or transfer it to your friend. You can contact us via email or Facebook Messenger.
