How long have you been volunteering for HCB, and what prompted you to start helping out?

I have been a part of HCB since 2014. I was due to a shout out for volunteers from a former committee member that I became involved with the club itself. I became a member within a month after I started helping out and within 3 months I joined the committee .

What kinds of things have you done as a volunteer? What are you favourite shifts?

I started with door shifts on Friday nights for nearly 6 months, but as a committee member I became involved with a lot more than that. Now you all know me as the Sausage King on Friday's.

What's the most ridiculous thing that has every happened to you while volunteering?

Now you all know me as the Sausage King on Friday's.

What would you say to someone thinking about volunteering for HCB?

If anyone else were to ask me personally about volunteering I would tell them to go for it. Volunteering is so rewarding & fun, you get to meet and know so many people especially on a door shift at Kinselas.
